Abundance Pattern

Abundance is a very large basket that uses two D handles. The base is a woven bottom, filled base. A pretty overlay completes this basket.

Baxter starts by inserting spokes into a wood, slotted base. Techniques include twining, start/stop weaving, weaving a matchstick border and SHAPING! An adorable little penguin surrounded by snowflakes adorns the front of the basket. The accent colors are Shocking Pink and Black.

Beautiful Amish made leather handles are incorporated into the rim. A silver Celtic Shamrock adorns the front. The basket pictured is stained with Minwax Golden Oak.

Plum Crazy for Autumn starts by weaving a woven, filled base. Techniques include setting up a woven base, tucking using the “chicken feet” method, twining and the use of overlays. The accent colors are Wild Plum, Chocolate Brown, and Tan. A Japanese Lantern Berry adorns the front of the basket.

The Valentine Candy Basket starts by weaving a woven, filled base. Techniques include setting up a base, twining, start/stop weaving, triple twining with a step up, and the use of overlays. The accent colors are Pink Quartz and Shocking Pink. A berry sprig and a tea stained primitive ribbon adorns the front of the basket.

Love Autumn? Then this basket is for you! Accent colors are Glossy Black cane, smoked and caramel reed, and seagrass. Techniques include: Filling a base, twining, triple twining with an arrow weave, continuous weaving and using overlays. A Japanese Lantern berry embellishment completes the look. A metal black hanger is attached so it may be hung on a wall or door.

“Whimsy” starts by weaving a woven, filled base. Techniques include twining, triple twining with a step up and using an overlay on the rim. The accent colors are space dyed Whimsical and Smoked. Pip berries adorn the front.

The Williamsburg Gathering basket is a great place to stash yarn or anything else! It starts with a woven, filled base on a Williamsburg D handle. The accent color is black with a wood veneer strip. Homespun fabric and a leather sheep embellishment really dress it up. The black overlay and fabric on the handle plus the little ball feet complete the look. Pretty anywhere you use it!
