Abundance Pattern

Abundance is a very large basket that uses two D handles. The base is a woven bottom, filled base. A pretty overlay completes this basket.

Baxter starts by inserting spokes into a wood, slotted base. Techniques include twining, start/stop weaving, weaving a matchstick border and SHAPING! An adorable little penguin surrounded by snowflakes adorns the front of the basket. The accent colors are Shocking Pink and Black.

Advanced Beginner Weaving Level

This is a fun basket to weave and receive! Perfect as a hostess gift or housewarming gift! The basket starts out on a wood base. Techniques include twining, decreased weaving and triple twining with a step up. This is one you will be wanting to make over and over for gifts! Choose one of the coaster designs – 4 are included with the kit! Just indicate in the notes section which coasters you would like. Please note, the basket pictured is stained. Your kit will have natural reed and smoked for the rim.

Patterns are written for those with basic basketry knowledge.

Feelin’ Zesty starts by weaving a woven, filled base. Techniques include setting up a filled base, tucking the filler spokes using the “chicken feet” method, twining, start/stop weaving, the use of overlays, paird triple twining (3-rod wale) and double lashing. The handle is an 8″-9″ oak push in. This summery basket is sure to become one of your favorites!

This basket is woven on a D handle. This basket would look great in any room of your home however it is the perfect size to stash extra rolls of toilet paper in the powder room. The accent color is black and a pretty cotton bud/pip berry embellishment complete the basket.
