April Flowers is a wall or door basket woven on a “quick weave” D-handle. These are so much fun to weave! Just slide the spokes through the slot and weave. Techniques include start/stop weaving, triple twining with a step up, and the use of overlays. This basket is lashed three times! Twice with reed and then a third time around with pink waxed linen for that extra pop of color. The accent colors are moss green and tea rose with the floral embellishment complementing the basket colors.
Bonus – you can attach a different embellishment on the backside of the basket and just flip the basket over! This basket will look great anywhere you choose to use it.
