Back to Class starts by weaving a filled base.  Techniques include start/stop weaving, twining, the use of overlays and a unique double lashing with cane.  The accent colors are peach and smoked.  A neutral, fall floral embellishment adorns the front of the basket.

This basket was designed as a gift basket for teachers, librarians, bus drivers – anyone you would like to gift it to.  When my girls were in school I enjoyed making baskets for the people that were in their daily school lives.  Hence the name – “Back to Class”!
