Charmed starts by weaving a woven, filled base.  Techniques include twining, start/stop weaving, the use of overlays, shaping and double lashing with reed and lashing a third time with waxed linen.  The handle is Shaker Tape.  What makes this basket special is the charm – made by me!  The beads will vary a bit but all will have a “beachy” feel.  The accent colors are a soft sage, turquoise and smoked.  This basket will be “charming” anywhere you choose to use it!
