“Into the Woods” was designed for the guy in your life since Father’s Day is just around the corner.  The basket definitely has a masculine or Northwoods feel.  Techniques include filling a base, start/stop weaving, twining and weaving in overlays.

A rusty metal deer and copper wire accent the basket.  The deer is Made in the USA!  The accent color is smoked.

I have the finished basket pictured that has been stained with both Walnut and Driftwood so you can see how easily you can change the feel of the basket by your stain choice.  Both of these baskets were stained with Weaver’s Stain. You are on your own for staining!  The kits come with natural and smoked reed.
