The Porch Basket starts by weaving a woven filled base on a 7″ x 17″ D-handle.  Techniques include setting up a base, over/under weaving and using a D-handle.  This is a perfect basket for the beginner weaver and fun for any level of weaver.  The basket pictured has been stained with Minwax Golden Oak.  The accent colors are dark brown and moss green.  A metal embellishment with squirrels adorns the front of the basket.  When I designed this, I thought pretty, red geraniums would look great in this basket!
